It is with great sadness that we share the news that many of you have already heard: Conservation Biologist Edward O. Wilson — universally known as the “Ant Man,” passed away in December 2021. Dr. Wilson was a vital member of TREE Foundation’s MISSION GREEN initiative, serving as the initiative’s founding science advisory board chair. While we mourn the loss, we celebrate the amazing contributions he made to the world — and, so generously, to our organization.
